Tuareg InGall Metal & Glass Pendant Leather Necklace Choker – Niger
This pendant is one of the region-specific pendant series – said to be a series of 21 – that the Tuareg people of Niger use. This one is from the In Gall region, characterized by metal encasing a piece of red glass. The size of this one is 2 1/4″ tall (5.7 cm).Â
We have strung this pendant on an alagom, a leather choker, unique to Niger, made of 14 very thin strands of twisted leather, lending a fineness to its quality. We sell these chokers separately on this site.
